Impulse current therapy (Amplipulse)


Impulse current therapy (amplipulse) is a treatment method during which the patient is exposed to a low (1–200 Hz), medium (2 000–5 000 Hz) and mixed frequency, low intensity alternating impulse current.

Amplipulse therapy is used for:

  • Peripheral nervous system diseases and traumas;
  • Inflammatory and degenerative conditions and traumas of the muscular-skeletal system (osteochondrosis, arthrosis, ligament sprain injuries, epicondylitis, tendovaginitis, tunnel syndromes);
  • Pain syndrome (osteochondrosis, radiculopathy, neuritis, neuralgia, polyneuropathy, arthrosis, arthritis etc.);
  • Muscle weakness (caused by neuritis, radiculopathy, polyneuropathy, stroke, traumatic brain and other injury, immobilisation, orthopaedic surgery, trauma, bladder disorders etc.);
  • Peripheral circulation disorders;
  • Hypertension - stages 1 and 2;
  • Digestive tract conditions, constipation etc.

The duration of the procedure is 15 min.

No special preparation is required.
