Treatment of ear, nose, throat (ENT) disease

For children and adults!

Physician otorhinolaryngologists (ENT) at our Centre provide consultations and treat children as well as adults suffering from various diseases affecting the nose, ears, throat, and vocal cords. They prescribe and perform all the necessary tests, certain medical procedures and manipulations, and, if necessary, surgeries.

The most common diseases and ailments: adenoid removal, acute and chronic tonsillitis (angina), acute and chronic otitis, (inflammation of the ear), dizziness of peripheral origin, distorted nasal septum and chronic rhinitis, acute and chronic sinusitis, chronic pharyngitis (inflammation of the pharynx), diseases of the vocal folds, diseases causing hearing loss, sulphur plug.
Many ear, nose, and throat examinations are carried out right here, in the ENT doctor's office.

Treatment: we are one of the few treatment facilities that use modern and effective methods for treating chronic rhinitis. After assessing the individual situation, the ear, nose and throat (ENT) physicians at our Centre can offer a cold treatment – cryotherapy, which is less traumatic for the body, for the following diseases: chronic pharyngitis,  chronic tonsillitis, chronic runny nose, mucous and skin formations (cysts, haemangiomas), recurrent nosebleeds, snoring.

We are one of the few institutions to use a radio frequency device for nasal conchae surgeries (conchoplasty), which is more tissue-friendly during the surgery.
While treating children with recurrent ear infections, the ear, nose and throat (ENT) doctors at our Centre give priority to treatments that are least traumatic for the body.
If tonsillitis or adenoid surgery is needed for children, we can usually have surgery on the day following the initial consultation; there are no queues at our Centre.

Frequently asked questions

We usually recommend a visit to your ear, nose, and throat (ENT) doctor in the case of:

  • upper respiratory diseases such as ear infections or sinusitis,
  •  poor hearing in an adult or child after a recurrent infection such as an ear infection or sinusitis,
  • a culture needs to be taken from the nose or tonsils, where a streptococcal infection is suspected,
  • recurrent adenoiditis - inflammation of the adenoids (lymph tissue); Adenoids, together with the tonsils, are the body’s first defense against viruses and bacteria,
  • clarification of the cause of nasal mucosal lesions, for example, in the case of allergies,
  • bothersome ear clogging and need to remove sulphur cork.

Also due to any diseases of the ears, nose, throat, which are frequent and which cause discomfort - stuffy nose, bleeding, snoring, olfactory disorders, hoarseness, hearing loss, and other.

Ear inflammation is most commonly associated with colds and runny nose complications. Children are more likely to get the disease because their immune system is less able to fight the infection.

You should see your doctor if your ear pain is severe and does not go away in 1-2 days.
Children often wake up crying at night due to ear pain. In such cases, you can put on a compress, give painkillers and wait until morning. If the child is in pain again after taking the medication, you should see your ENT doctor.

If the sore throat is severe, lasts for several days, the temperature rises and the pain relief does not help, it is recommended to see your doctor immediately.

Don’t delay, take care of yourself now
