Vitamin H (biotin, vitamin B7)
Vitamin H is involved in the metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids, regulates the functioning of sweat glands and testicles, prevents the progression of inflammations and slows down the ageing processes. It is important for skin, hair, and blood production, as well as normal functioning of the nervous system.

Who should have a vitamin H test carried out?
Vitamin H deficiency might occur in those who suffer from intestinal diseases, take antibiotics regularly or for a prolonged period of time, or abuse alcohol, or in pregnant and nursing women.
