Dr Rimas has been recognised as one of the most experienced surgeons in Lithuania. He performs the full range of orthopaedic surgeries, such as bunion (hallux valgus) and ankle, as well as arthroscopy of the joints. Dr Rimas applies both conservative and surgical treatment when dealing with knee and ankle joint trauma, bone fractures, muscle, tendon and ligament injuries.

He is one of the best sports injury specialists in the country. He favours minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery and uses globally applied innovative treatment methods, such as PRP therapy, natural knee cartilage regeneration etc.

Dr Rimas has extensive practical work experience. For many years he has been operating at one of the largest hospitals in Lithuania – Vilnius University Hospital (formerly Vilnius Emergency Hospital). He has been leading our Orthopaedics and Traumatology Centre team since 2007.
